Forest Bathing — Shinrin-Yoku Walk

Shinrin-Yoku — Japanese forest bathing — is not hiking or exercise.

About this Retreat

Shinrin-Yoku — Japanese forest bathing — is not hiking or exercise. It is the slow, mindful practice of being in the presence of trees, shown by the Japanese Forestry Agency to lower cortisol, blood pressure, and heart rate while boosting NK (natural killer) immune cells. Our certified guide leads a three-hour immersive walk with sensory awakening invitations, sit spots, and a concluding tea ceremony with forest botanicals.
